As a special education teacher, I like to use technology in terms of what it can help students access. For example, students who struggle with reading can use text to speech software on certain occasions, so they need to be able to learn to use that technology in addition to the remedial reading skills they are lacking.

I would also be concerned about the fact that you don't actually need the first sentence to solve the problem. I feel that so many of my students would be distracted by that that they would make a careless error in that regard.
