From partners like Savvas, HMH Intor eading, Nat Geo, schools choose the online curriculum they wanted (if the wanted.) Otherwise they just used their own school based curriculum and tried to make it remote friendly with web based platforms (Google Classroom and other 3rd party resources.)
Sorry I am from the NYCDOE
Much of our curriculum had some digital components. We have ClassLink Single Sign on that has a Teacher console that teachers could put up assignments for elementary students. Teams was used for assignments and meetings. We also used Zoom for synchronous learning.
I like the interactive PowerPoints created by Theresa Wills - https://www.theresawills.com/mathurdays and the derivations by Esther Park - https://www.mrspark.org/
Are you accessing direct or via a learning object repository?
Hours and hours!
30 minutes - an hour per class?
Too much! I'm a tech coach and would get emails from people in the middle of the night with questions during the school closure.
Approx. 20 hours per week
Dr. Sean Adcroft

Yes, Annemarie, so tough.
Inviting in and helping students speak up - worry that they don’t have enough English or, even if they do, that they might make a fool of themselves…..How to lower the stakes and provide onramps to engagement.
Reassuring kids when they’re having a difficult time understanding a concept we’re teaching
The ability to provide an environment where they are less focused upon Maslow’s needs and can focus upon being vulnerable and open to relationships
Parents - they are not giving the students time to be themselves and to speak for themselves
Inconsistent time with students
I am sorry I have to leave webinar....I am needed in the district. I really wanted to hear more

Our room talked about increasing PD opportunities for teachers.
Do you recall your fav teacher's name? I remember Mrs. Casiola (2nd grade). She was so kind to me.
supervisors need to learn how to support teachers and give guidance that's germane to the environment.
Yes, Winnie, (Hi Winnie). Just as teachers make connections with students, supervisors who are successful leaders follow the same process. Great point, Winnie. I hope you are well.,
👍Agreed relationship building is key! all is well on this end.
We use this Spreadsheet with students. I used this when I supervised a team and it was super helpful to build rapport.
As virtual leaders we can do this with our teachers and the systems then trickle to the teachers to their students. The teacher is the magic. :)
